MELANKOLICS:
Having started their journey more than five years ago, Melankolics have finally reached the point of no return, as the band prepares to release its debut album during 2009.
The bands poprock has that distinct finnish melancholy to it. A melancholy that has that sweet undertow of joyful longing, no agonizing despair to be found here. The base for the band is laid down by the basic, guitar-drums-bass trio, but in this case its topped with the soulfull violin, that adds that extra something to the sound fo the Melankolics.
As the bands tunes colored like the autumn leaves roll out of the stereos every music listener in the room is sure to be enchanted.
